| Chiang Rai River Photo Gallery The Kok River (Tha Mae Nam Kok) in Chiang Rai is not very large, really, but is lovely, and has offshoots running through town. Longtail boats ply the river daily, traveling to hillside villages in which one can see some of the Hillside Tribes, though we didn't take that journey due to limited time.
