THE ELEPHANT BABY ^©

A baby elephant, just like a child
does love its mother dearly
but it adores its keeper too
who's like a nanny, clearly 

It craves affection just like people
and cherishes a tidbit
it runs and rests, it eats and drinks
it plays and can act like a misfit 

It also drops big heaps of poop
and is an accomplished sleeper
and when it doesn't like something
it even becomes a weeper 

The miniature pachyderm is cute
as long as you are gentle
don't tease it or annoy the brute
'cause it can get temperamental 

When mad its strength is awesome too and won't forget your face
if you have done it wrong watch out
it will put you in your place
