THONGLOR ONLINE

This page represents to first step in the bringing to you a companion resource to the popular Sukhumvit Online.

Soi Thonglor, though not a long soi -- it originally ran only from Sukhumvit Road north to Khlong Saen Saeb (a canal), then was extended north across the khlong to link to the nearby Petchburi Road -- is increasingly important at the location of a growing number of places of interest to foreign residents and tourists.  It in fact has been extended far to the north beyond Petchburi Road, but that is getting away from areas of interest to you.

First is the West Side of Thonglor -- for those of you directionally-challenged, when you turn into Thonglor from Sukhumvit Road, the west side is on your LEFT.  To help you keep oriented, we'll indicate when we come to a natural break created by a sub-soi running off the main road to your left.  The places listed on this page are on the left margin, with the sub-sois' names centered, to help give you a visual clue.

Second is the East Side of Thonglor -- that is, on your RIGHT as you travel up Soi Thonglor from Sukhumvit Road.  While the sub-sois' names are centered on this page, the same as on the West Side page, the place names themselves are hard against the *right* margin -- again, to help you keep oriented in this often confusing city.

Later we will be adding places along the sub-sois, as well as pages grouping all the businesses of the same type in the whole Soi Thonglor area -- beauty and hair salons, for example, and restaurants as another example.

We hope you find Thonglor Online as useful as many people have found Sukhumvit Online to be!
